The Winter Garden
The Winter Garden documents the garden and farm from January to March. I was drawn to the bright and muted pigments, the living and decaying, the protected and the vulnerable, brought out in these particular months. I aim to highlight the unexpected beauty found in sustainable practices of composting food waste. The elegance of petals and banana peels, pinks and yellows eventually turning a dull brown, a deep black.
